I’m a sucker for renaissance era chiaroscuro art. Basically, Rembrandt is my art senpai. Chiaroscuro looks stunning, though the light and dark is hard to balance. But if it’s done correctly, the dramatic lighting, the metallic glares, the reflective eyes… So naturally, which character showcases these things thematically? Morrigan. Of course.
Flat shading preview.
With some rendering and a bunch of layers and DRAMA.
It still needs a lot of rendering but if the end result looks as nice as this in-progress shot, I’ll be a very happy girl.
